The Office of the Tax Collector will provide taxpayers and town employees with
professional and courteous customer service.  We will answer all inquiries in a timely
manner.  We will treat all taxpayers with equity and take all necessary steps allowable by
law to collect on all past due monies.

The Tax Collector's Office is responsible for the billing and collection of the following

Real Estate & Personal Property Taxes
Motor Vehicle
Cable TV, Electric. Sewer & Water Bills
Electric,Sewer & Water Leins
Parking Tickets
Tag Sale Permits

The Tax Collector also sells Dump Permits,
Trash Tags and Appliance Disposal Permits.  
Seasonally Burning Permits are issued at the Collectors Office.
*NEW*  Please note- If an on-line payment is returned for insufficient funds, you will
be notified electronically by Unibank of the return.  You will be charged a $25.00 fee
by theTown Of Russell for this transaction.
Starting March 10, 2021  there will be a .50 bank fee per transaction
All utility payments are due on the 22nd of each month.  Any payment
received after the 22nd will be credited on the next utility statement.
